Whiskey was highly popular in the United States in the 19th century and this is when some of its most famous brands were introduced to the American market, such as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Adam Richard Seger also notes that whiskey became extremely popular in the United States in the mid-1800s when a new way to distill it was invented, which resulted in lower levels of production costs and higher profit margins.
Whiskey nowadays has a variety of flavors and aromas, such as vanilla, caramel, honey, or cinnamon, which only add to its appeal. Whiskey is also often combined with other drinks such as Coca-Cola, with mixed results.
